Frequently Asked Questions
TRAVEL & ARRIVAL
-
We recommend arriving in India 1–2 days before the wedding events begin so you have time to rest, adjust to the time zone, and enjoy a bit of sightseeing. Many guests are choosing to fly into New Delhi first, spend a day or two there, and then travel onward to Jaipur.
-
For international flights, we suggest flying into New Delhi (DEL). From there, you can either take a short domestic flight or drive to Jaipur (JAI). If you find a good connection directly into Jaipur, that works too.
-
You can either:
Take a domestic flight from Delhi (DEL) to Jaipur (JAI), or
Book a car/road transfer, which is a comfortable drive of around 3.5- 4 hours.
Our travel desk can help you compare and book both options—flights or car transfers. Their contact details are available under the ‘Travel’ tab.
-
Yes. Once your travel is confirmed and you share your arrival details, our hospitality team will coordinate your pick-up from Jaipur airport and escort you to the hotel.
-
Most domestic airlines in India allow 15 kg of checked-in baggage per passenger, which is usually less than international allowances. If you are on separate tickets, you may need to pay for extra baggage on your domestic flight.

-
Yes. You can reach out to Rambagh Palace directly to request additional nights at the preferred wedding rate (subject to availability). It’s a great idea if you’d like to explore Jaipur before or after the wedding.
-
We recommend arriving in Jaipur 1–2 days before the wedding for a smooth and comfortable start. If you plan to arrive on the morning of September 15th, the first day of the celebrations, please note that most guests will be landing around the same time from Delhi or Mumbai. Our hospitality team will meet you at Jaipur Airport and escort you to the hotel.
Because of the large number of group arrivals, there may be delays with check-in and in room luggage delivery.
We recommend keeping a change of clothes and essentials in your carry-on to get ready without waiting for your bags, since The Haldi ceremony begins at noon. For a more relaxed start, you may choose to arrive a day earlier using the wedding room rate at Rambagh Palace. You can also extend your stay before or after the wedding or select from nearby hotels in Jaipur. Our travel desk can assist with all accommodation bookings.
