FLIGHTS AND ARRIVAL
You might want to spend a night or two in Delhi as a stopover before heading to Jaipur. Landing in New Delhi a couple of days before the wedding gives you time to recover from the time difference, and it also lets you enjoy the capital’s incredible food, shopping, and world-class hotels.

You’ll also find several domestic flights available from New Delhi to Jaipur, with frequent departures throughout the day. Or you can choose to drive from Delhi to Jaipur, which is a very comfortable trip of about 4 hours. Please refer to the FAQ tab for additional details.
LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Please note that domestic flights within India allow only 15 kg of checked-in baggage per passenger, which is less than most international allowances. If your domestic and international flights are booked separately, you may need to pay for extra baggage on the domestic flight.

VISAS
US passport holders need a visa to travel to India. The India eVisa is the fastest and easiest way to obtain one, as you can submit your application and supporting documents online.
Visit https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html and click on
“Apply here for e-visa.” The approval process takes about 24 - 72 hours.
We suggest you apply for your e-visa at least 2-3 weeks prior.
ARRIVAL IN INDIA
All foreign nationals landing in India now use the mandatory e-Arrival Card, a digital form, filled online via the Bureau of Immigration portal, Indian Visa Online, or the Su-Swagatam app within 72 hours of arrival
STEPS FOR E-ARRIVAL
How to Complete the e-Arrival Card
1. Access the Portal: Use India's official e-Arrival Card portal (or other official sites).
2. Fill in Details: Provide your name (as on passport), passport number, nationality, flight details, purpose of visit, and address in India.
3. Submit: Complete the form up to 72 hours before your flight.
4. Receive Confirmation: Get a digital confirmation with a QR code via email.
5. Show at Airport: Present the digital (or printed) QR code/acknowledgment to immigration officers upon arrival
